Unit 3.3: At the restaurant

Objective.

This activity aimed to gain knowledge about simple past writing with the subject in the restaurant. The subject serves me because it is an issue that we look at daily in everyday life.

Brief reading on the subject

In the restaurant where I worked as a waitress when I was young. They served our customers the best way, we approached the table in 2 minutes before the customers were seated, immediately greeted and settled in the best places, gave information about the services and products offered by our restaurant. The staff was very polite. Information was given on special foods and also on drinks. We ordered what special drinks. The drinks offered by the restaurant were special. They were told what the beer was on tap and what refreshments were available. There was time for them to check the menu for the drinks. After returning with the drinks the order is quickly taken. The food is served at the table after 15 minutes of ordering. After the meal, take a tray of dessert. The desserts were very tempting and delicious. They are asked if they like that the dessert is heated. Within 8 minutes the dessert is delivered to the table as requested along with an extra plate and new forks. The food that was passed to the table was very good, reasonably priced, and provided good service.

Definition and brief description

Waitresses are responsible for ensuring that everything is well coordinated so that customers never need to complain. The job that a waitress performed at that restaurant was often a difficult job. We were responsible for providing customers with the best of services. They greet the customers as they arrived. Orders were taken, orders were also given to the kitchen. He handed the order to the table. In working hours you needed to be pleasant even in times of great distress, be exact when it comes to orders and ensure that every order is delivered in an efficient manner over time.
